Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce Marry at Madison Square Garden

(WS News) – Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce were married earlier this month at Madison Square Garden, with actor Adam Sandler officiating a ceremony that drew a guest list spanning music, film, and professional sports.

Stevie Nicks performed during the celebration, which unfolded across a multiday series of events beginning with a rehearsal dinner earlier in the week. Guests from the entertainment world included Bradley Cooper, Zoë Kravitz, Hugh Grant, Ethan Hawke, Gigi Hadid, Karlie Kloss, Chris Rock and director Steven Spielberg, while sports figures on hand included Kelce’s coach Andy Reid, Chiefs teammate Kareem Hunt, retired NFL star Tom Brady, and Seattle Seahawks receiver Cooper Kupp.

The venue was transformed for the occasion, with guests describing peach-colored carpet and drapes and party favors featuring lyrics from Swift’s song “Blank Space.” A jumbotron outside the arena flashed “JUST&T MARRIED!” to crowds of fans who had gathered near Madison Square Garden hoping to catch a glimpse of the festivities. One guest, AMC CEO Adam Aron, described the venue as transformed into a “secret garden” filled with photographs of the couple at different ages, and said the vows the couple wrote were “emotional” and “charming.”

The wedding caps roughly three years of dating between Swift and Kelce, who announced their engagement last August. In a culture saturated with celebrity pairings, the ceremony was widely described as among the most closely watched of the year, rivaling the attention typically reserved for royal weddings.
