(WS News) – NCP leader Baba Siddique’s death sent shockwaves in the film industry. On Oct. 12, the politician was shot dead outside his son Zeeshan Siddique’s office in the Bandra area.

Baba Siddique was known for his close connection with Bollywood stars, especially actor Salman Khan.

Khan was among the first ones to reach the hospital after Baba Siddique was shot dead. As per several inside sources, it was revealed that the actor has been deeply affected after Siddique’s death.

Recently, Baba Siddique’s son Zeeshan has talked about his father’s death, revealing the close bond he and his family share with Salman.

Speaking to BBC News Hindi, the politician revealed that Salman has been very supportive and he’s unable to sleep since his father’s tragic death.

When asked about getting celebrity support, Zeeshan mentioned that Salman and everyone else have been friends of his father and he doesn’t consider them celebs as they were very close to the late politician and have been visiting home very often.

”I have never considered my father’s friends to be celebrities. Because if someone always visits your home, they are your father’s close friends and are considered like family members,” he said.

Further, he mentioned that Bhai (Salman Khan) has always been like a family to him and he and his father were like real brothers.

Zeeshan added that Salman got very upset after the death of his father and has been very supportive since then.

He further shared that Salman checks on him and talks about how he’s not able to sleep properly.

”Salman was very upset by all these things. Father and Salman were as close as real brothers. He has supported me a lot ever since my father’s death; he always makes sure to check on me.

He can’t sleep properly at night; he speaks to me about all these things,” he said, as per HT.

Baba Siddique’s iftar party was a famous annual event of the Tinsel town and several Bollywood celebrities graced the occasion every year.
