DUBAI (WS News) – Before the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup, the Pakistan women’s cricket team faced a 23-run defeat against Bangladesh in their second warm-up match.
Bangladesh batted first, scoring 140 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in their allotted 20 overs. In response, the national women’s team managed only 117 runs in 18.4 overs.
Nida Dar was the standout bowler for Pakistan, taking 1 wicket for 15 runs in 3 overs.
In the first warm-up match, Pakistan lost to Scotland by 8 wickets. The team would begin its campaign in the mega event on October 3 against Sri Lanka.
