Pakistan team to feature in AFC Women’s Futsal Asian Cup 2025

The Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) Normalization Committee (NC) has revealed that the Pakistan Women’s Futsal team will take part in the AFC Women’s Futsal Asian Cup 2025, marking their inaugural entry into a premier futsal competition under the Asian Football Confederation (AFC). Scheduled to commence in early 2025, the qualification round will lead up to the round of 12 in May 2025.

In preparation for this milestone event, the PFF has successfully organized five Futsal National Cup (FNC) tournaments across major cities in Pakistan. MRF claimed the Women’s Futsal National Cup title in Lahore, Hazara emerged victorious in Quetta, Smuff triumphed in Islamabad, and Karachi City secured the championship in Karachi. These competitions were integral to the PFF’s initiatives aimed at nurturing women’s futsal in Pakistan.

Haroon Malik, Chairman of the Pakistan Football Federation Normalization Committee, expressed his satisfaction with this development, affirming the PFF NC’s commitment to fostering women’s futsal in Pakistan and providing players with opportunities to compete on the global stage.
