FAISALABAD (WS News) – Pakistan White Ball Cricket Head Coach Gary Kirsten on Wednesday held a meeting with mentors and head coaches of teams participating in the Champions One-Day Cup.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) shared a video of the meeting where various aspects of the tournament were discussed.

Kirsten was joined by high-performance specialist David Reid and High Performance and Champions Cup Director Nadeem Khan.

During the session, Kirsten emphasised that individuals could win matches, but teams were required to win series and titles.

He encouraged players to learn from their mentors and develop effective strategies.

Kirsten noted that Pakistan had talented cricketers who required only minor adjustments and fine-tuning. He shared his plan to observe the entire Champions One-Day Cup before returning home.

Pakistan have a busy schedule for white-ball cricket from November 2024 to April 2025, featuring T20 and ODI matches against Australia, Zimbabwe, South Africa, and New Zealand.

Prior to the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, which would take place in Pakistan in February and March, Pakistan would host an ODI series against New Zealand and South Africa.

Following the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, the Pakistan team would tour New Zealand, with at least 18 ODIs and 9 T20 Internationals scheduled during the November 2024 to April 2025 period.
