Blast in Pishin police lines leaves two children dead, 12 people injured

PISHIN (WSN) – A blast near the police lines in Pishin district, Balochistan, has resulted in the deaths of two children and left 12 others, including police officers, injured.

According to authorities, the explosion took place in a bazaar close to the police lines, causing significant damage to a car and a motorcycle, and affecting other vehicles as well.

The police have confirmed the deaths of two children and reported that 12 people were injured in the blast.

Rescue teams arrived at the scene and transported the injured to a hospital for treatment.

The area has been cordoned off by the police, who are investigating the cause of the explosion.

MOHSIN NAQVI CONDEMNS THE ATTACK

Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has condemned the explosion near the police lines. He expressed condolences to the families of the deceased children and wished for the swift recovery of the injured.

Naqvi denounced the attackers as inhumane for targeting innocent children and vowed to continue the fight against terrorists and their supporters until they are eradicated. He emphasized that the nation and security forces are united in their commitment to a peaceful and secure Pakistan.
