Zimbabwe has announced the squad for the first Test against Ireland.

Zimbabwe has announced their 15-player squad for the upcoming lone Test match against Ireland, marking their first encounter with the Irish team. This Test will be Zimbabwe’s first of the year, following their recent 1-0 series loss to West Indies in 2023.

Led by Craig Ervine, the squad includes seasoned players such as Sean Williams, Tendai Chatara, Blessing Muzarabani, and Richard Ngarava. Additionally, Zimbabwe has introduced four new faces to the squad: Clive Madande and Joylord Gumbie as wicketkeeper-batters, along with all-rounders Brian Bennett and Johnathan Campbell.

The single Test match is scheduled to take place from July 25 to 29 at Stormont in Belfast, Ireland.
