Torino have secured the services of Scotland forward Adams.

Torino have officially signed Che Adams, the former Southampton forward, on a free transfer, as announced by the Serie A club on Tuesday.

The 28-year-old Scottish international departed Southampton at the conclusion of last season following the expiration of his contract. Adams has agreed to a three-year contract with the Italian side.

Addressing Toro fans in a video shared on the social media platform X, Adams expressed his excitement, saying, “Hello Toro fans. I’m delighted to be here and eager to start. See you all soon.”

During his tenure at Southampton spanning five seasons, Adams netted 48 goals in 191 appearances. His final game for the Saints was in the Championship playoff final, where he came off the bench to help secure promotion to the Premier League with a victory over Leeds United.

Adams made his debut for Scotland in 2021 after previously representing England Under-20s. He featured in all six matches for Scotland across Euro 2020 and Euro 2024.

Torino finished ninth in the standings last season but faced challenges in scoring goals, tallying 36 across their 38 league fixtures.
