Stephen Curry Becomes First Active Player With Dedicated Hall of Fame Exhibit

(WS News) – Stephen Curry is set to become the first active NBA player to receive his own dedicated exhibit at the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame, with “Stephen Curry: Beyond the Arc” opening to the public on July 24 in Springfield, Massachusetts.

The Hall of Fame announced the exhibit on Tuesday, calling it the first time in the museum’s nearly 75-year history that an active player has been honored with a dedicated feature experience. Developed in partnership with Curry’s Thirty Ink business team, the exhibit will include game-worn gear, championship and Olympic artifacts, archival video footage and audio and video components tracing his path from an overlooked college recruit to a two-time MVP and four-time NBA champion.

“When I think about my journey, I think about the people who believed in me, the work that happened when nobody was watching and the moments that shaped me on and off the court,” Curry said in a statement. “To have that story told while I’m still playing is something I don’t take lightly.”

Curry, a 12-time All-Star and the NBA’s career leader in three-pointers made, remains years away from formal Hall of Fame induction, which typically comes after a player retires. Warriors general manager Mike Dunleavy called the exhibit “a testament to what he represents to the game, to the Warriors, to the NBA and to his millions of fans around the world,” adding that it serves as “a fitting tribute to an iconic player.” The exhibit is expected to run through the summer of 2027.
