Pak cueists to participate in Asian Snooker, 6 Reds Championship

Five Pakistani snooker players are set to compete in the Asian Team Men & U21 Snooker, 6 Reds Championships 2024 scheduled to take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from June 26 to July 5.

According to a press release, the Pakistani team includes Asjad Iqbal and Awais Ullah Munir for both the Asian Team and 6 Reds Championship categories, while Ahsan Ramzan, Muhammad Hasnain Akhtar, and Muhammad Hamza Ilyas will participate in the Asian U21 Championship.

Naveed Kapadia will accompany the team as Referee/Team Manager.

The players underwent a training camp at the NBP Sports Complex in Karachi from June 20 to 25, focusing on refining their skills and preparing them for the upcoming tournaments. The Pakistan Billiards & Snooker Association (PBSA) expressed confidence that the players would bring honor to the country in all these championships.

PBSA awaited the return of passports, which were undergoing the visa process at the Saudi Embassy in Karachi. The team is scheduled to depart for Riyadh on Wednesday, June 26.
