Mohsin Naqvi meets former players to discuss reforms

Nearly a month after emphasizing the necessity for significant reforms within the cricket team, Mohsin Naqvi, Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board, is now engaged in meetings to devise a strategy. Naqvi has held discussions with head coach Gary Kirsten and Azhar Mahmood in Lahore, with further meetings scheduled for today (Tuesday). He has also consulted with several former players, including Intikhab Alam, Iqbal Qasim, Haroon Rasheed, and others, who have proposed various solutions to address the team’s issues. The discussions have highlighted concerns about squad selection and advocated for greater emphasis on promoting youth and domestic cricket. Following Pakistan’s disappointing performance in the T20 World Cup, both Gary Kirsten and Wahab Riaz submitted reports to Naqvi.
