Kylian Mbappe, having recovered from a broken nose suffered in France’s opening match against Austria, returns to the starting lineup for their Euro 2024 Group D clash against Poland in Dortmund on Tuesday. Manager Didier Deschamps has made two changes, with Mbappe and forward Bradley Barcola replacing Antoine Griezmann and Marcus Thuram.
France, already assured of at least advancing as the best third-placed team, must outperform the Netherlands’ result against Austria to secure top spot in the group. Meanwhile, Poland, who have been eliminated without earning any points from their first two games, will see their captain Robert Lewandowski start for the first time in the tournament, having fully recovered from an injury.
Here are the lineups:
France: Mike Maignan, Jules Kounde, William Saliba, Dayot Upamecano, Theo Hernandez; Aurelien Tchouameni, N’Golo Kante, Adrien Rabiot; Ousmane Dembele, Kylian Mbappe (C), Bradley Barcola
Poland: Lukasz Skorupski; Pawel Dawidowicz, Jan Bednarek, Jakub Kiwior; Przemyslaw Frankowski, Sebastian Szymanski, Piotr Zielinski, Nicola Zalewski, Jakub Moder; Kacper Urbanski, Robert Lewandowski
