ISLAMABAD (WSN) – Information and Broadcasting Minister Attaullah Tarar has stated that the government’s goal is to position Pakistan as a member of the G-20 by 2030.

Speaking at the National Youth Convention in Islamabad, Tarar emphasized that the country’s youth, who represent 60% of the population, must play a vital role in reaching this objective.

He highlighted that the youth are the nation’s future and stressed the importance of leaving a better Pakistan for upcoming generations.

Referring to past efforts by the PML-N to support youth development, Tarar noted that the current administration is focused on initiatives to harness the potential of young people.

Tarar praised Arshad Nadeem for bringing honor to Pakistan with his Olympic gold medal, attributing his success to hard work and dedication.

He also pointed to projects like educational endowment funds for talented students and the Daanish school network as key contributors to positive change.

The minister recalled the significant role of youth in the Pakistan Movement and expressed confidence that they will similarly influence the country’s future.

Tarar underscored the resilience and determination of Pakistani youth and reported that IT exports have tripled in the past four months, with an increase in IT experts and a surge in startups in the country.
