After Kohli and Sharma, Jadeja also bids farewell to T20Is

Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja has announced his retirement from T20 Internationals in a social media post, stating that he always tried to give his best for his country.

In his announcement, Jadeja expressed his intention to continue contributing to the national team in other formats.

He mentioned that winning the T20 World Cup was a dream come true and a pinnacle of his career, thanking fans for their unwavering support throughout his journey.

Following the retirements of Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli from T20 Internationals, Jadeja becomes the third Indian player to retire after the World Cup.

Performance in the T20 World Cup: Jadeja struggled with form during the T20 World Cup, scoring only 35 runs in 5 innings and taking just one wicket.

Career stats: Jadeja played 74 matches for India, taking 54 wickets and scoring 515 runs in 41 innings.
