Nawaz, CM Maryam meet British High Commissioner

LAHORE (WSN) – On Sunday, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz and PML-N President Nawaz Sharif met with British High Commissioner Jane Marriott.

The discussion, held in Murree, covered topics including education, health, and climate change.

The chief minister outlined the actions taken by the Punjab government to address climate change issues.

She also updated the high commissioner on the PI system, which is designed to enhance provincial administration and governance standards.

Additionally, the CM encouraged British institutions to invest in the Nawaz Sharif IT City.

“Punjab is advancing into an era of digitization, with significant progress in the Nawaz IT City and Twin Towers Project in Lahore,” she noted.

Maryam Nawaz also praised the ongoing cooperation between the two countries in education and health sectors.
