England star scales to the top of ODI All-Rounder Rankings

Nat Sciver-Brunt, the current ICC Women’s Cricketer of the Year, reclaimed the top spot in the One Day International All-Rounder rankings following a stellar performance against New Zealand in the third ODI held in Bristol. Her unbeaten 76 off 84 deliveries propelled her past South Africa’s Marizanne Kapp in the updated rankings released on Tuesday. This achievement marks Sciver-Brunt’s return to the No.1 position, which she had temporarily surrendered in September last year. She now adds this accolade to her recently regained No.1 ODI batting ranking.

In other movements within the rankings, England’s Charlie Dean climbed to joint seventh place in the ODI bowling rankings, sharing the spot with West Indies’ Hayley Matthews. Meanwhile, Lauren Bell made a significant leap of 22 places to 24th in the bowling rankings following her impressive figures of 5/37 in nine overs.

Sophie Ecclestone continues to dominate the T20I bowling rankings, maintaining her top position with a recent performance of 1/27 in three overs against New Zealand. Her teammate Sarah Glenn has moved up to second place, challenging Ecclestone’s long-standing supremacy with her recent performances.

In the T20I batting rankings, South Africa’s Tazmin Brits made a notable advancement, rising four places to sixth after scoring consecutive fifties against India in Chennai. Her innings of 81 off 56 balls and 52 off 39 balls in the first and second T20Is respectively earned her significant recognition.
