Champions Trophy: Will Pakistan take on India in Lahore on March 1?

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has submitted an updated schedule for the Champions Trophy to the International Cricket Council. They propose March 1 as the date for the highly anticipated match between Pakistan and India in Lahore. This information surfaced on Thursday.

The revised schedule has also been shared with the seven other participating nations of the 2025 cricket tournament hosted by Pakistan. The event will kick off on February 19, 2025, with the first match in Karachi and will conclude on March 9 in Lahore. A reserve day on March 10 is allocated for the final.

According to the new schedule, Karachi will host three matches, Rawalpindi five matches, and Lahore seven matches. Semifinals are planned for Karachi and Rawalpindi, with the provision that if India reaches the semifinals, their match will be moved to Lahore.

In the Champions Trophy, Group A will include Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, and New Zealand, while Group B will consist of Australia, England, South Africa, and Afghanistan.
