T20 World Cup champions set to reach Delhi on Thursday

The Indian cricket team, victorious in the T20 World Cup 2024, departed from Barbados for New Delhi aboard a chartered flight today. They were stranded for three days due to a hurricane that suspended flights at the airport.

The chartered flight, Air Indian, took off from Grantley Adams International Airport in Bridgetown at 4:50 am local time on Wednesday.

The flight, carrying the champions, is scheduled to land at New Delhi airport on Thursday around 6:20 am India Standard Time.

On board are the Indian cricket team players, their families, support staff, and some officials of the board, all accommodated on this special flight arranged by the BCCI.

India clinched the T20 World Cup title with a thrilling seven-run victory over South Africa in the final last Saturday.
